Adult Self Defense Classes
During adult classes we discuss some of the ways people can defend ourselves mentally as well as physically. Making smart choices and empowering people with confidence. Seminars cover basic practical techniques; Including, Escapes, Stand up Striking (Punching /Kicking), and on the ground techniques. “What if this happens?” Questions from group are encouraged.
Junior Self Defense Classes
During Junior classes we discuss the difference between what we like to call “Playground defense” and “Bad Guy” defense. Playground defense is what is appropriate in a school setting. Making smart choices and empowering youth with confidence. Seminars cover basic practical techniques which mostly involve Escapes. “What if this happens?” Questions from group are encouraged.
One day course- Short course(one hour or two).
· Focused on individuals thinking about smart defense.
Leaves group confident with a few techniques they can use
and remember after short practice.
· Total number of techniques decided by group progression.
· Average one hour course has discussion, 5-10 basic techniques, and “What if?” time.
Month long course- Medium course (1 month, 1 hour once or twice a week)
· Focused on building strong self defense strategies
· Ensures longer retention and greater confidence in techniques.
· Averages 20 or more basic techniques
· Allows for more group discussion and questions.
· More practice time!

Martial Arts Classes
Intro to Tae Kwon Do
· Generally a two hour day course or 2 one hour courses on separate days.
· Covering the basics of the Korean Martial Art of Tae Kwon Do.
· Class involves basic Kicks, Short History, One step techniques, and short pattern.
· Short Demonstration of advanced Tae Kwon Do
Intro to Kumdo
· Generally a two hour day course or 2 one hour courses on separate days.
· Covering the basics of the Korean Martial Art of Kumdo (Korean Fencing).
· Bamboo swords
· Class involves basic sword handling, and Basic Drills.
· Short Demonstration of advanced Kumdo.
